M.S. DEGREE IN PARKS AND RECREATION MANAGEMENT, COMMUNITY RECREATION MANAGEMENT

Students who choose to focus on Community Recreation Management within the Master of Science in Parks and Recreation Management degree are prepared to plan, implement, market, evaluate, and manage recreation programs and events. 

M.S. DEGREE IN PARKS AND RECREATION MANAGEMENT, THERAPEUTIC RECREATION

Graduates of the program are prepared to enter professional practice as licensed recreational therapists in active treatment, leisure education, transitional treatment, and community-based leisure service delivery systems in psychiatric, rehabilitation, geriatric, corrections, schools, long-term care, adult day care, community inclusion, and pediatric and child life medical settings.

ACCELERATED MASTER’S PROGRAM (AMP)

In the Accelerated Master’s Program, students have the opportunity to graduate with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree, within a 5-year period.

GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS AND AWARDS

Students will be notified in the fall semester of scholarships through emails from Financial Aid and the Dept of CTR.  To apply for scholarships, students must submit information and supporting application documents in the Scholarship Universe).
